How The Love Fridge Network Works

    • Locations: About 17 active fridges across Chicago neighborhoods, listed on the official Find a Fridge map.
    • Taking food: No sign-up, appointment, or ID required — take what you need.
    • Donating food: Check the specific fridge's rules on the map, then drop off directly.
    • Fridge Managers: Volunteers who maintain individual fridges — sign up through the volunteer form.
    • Hosting a fridge: Requires owning or having permission to place a fridge, plus an electrical outlet — contact The Love Fridge to start.
